The Herbert Protocol

How quickly could you provide the police with personal details about a missing person that you care for? Imagine how much it would help those searching for a missing person if they know what they look like, what medication they are on, and where they may have gone to on previous occasions they’ve gone missing?

The Herbert Protocol is a means of preparing this information in advance of such an occasion so that you have it readily to hand. It involves completing and then regularly updating a form which you hold onto and only give to the authorities if and when needed due to that person going missing.

You can download and save a copy of the form here or via the North Wales Police website where there is also additional information about The Herbert Protocol.
