Môn-SAR is a team of highly trained, dedicated and motivated volunteers that support police searches for vulnerable missing people by providing specialist search skills and equipment. Beyond that, as first responders we deploy rapidly to injured persons in remote and difficult to access locations.

Môn-SAR operates across Anglesey and North Gwynedd
Our team responds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We support the Police and Ambulance services in lowland, steep ground, flood and urban incidents.
We provide specialist search skills, casualty care capability, rescue equipment and off-road transport.
Our services include:
- Rapid rescue response across Anglesey and North Gwynedd
- Search planning, casualty extraction, and welfare support
- Technical steep-ground rescue and difficult terrain access
- Community resilience support during severe weather
